Clash of the Titans!

May I have your attention please! There will be a very big and very exciting match of RECOIL to be held during the evening of Sunday, April 25. The two players include me, KORE-MORE, and a fine young fellow named Xylog. The reason for this being is that Xylog stripped me of my almost 3 week-long winning streak and I want revenge. The prize is none other than the glory, and exclusive bragging rights. This should be the game of all games, as many a RECOIL player has fallen to the wrath of us. If RECOIL had a teams option, nobody would stand a chance.

Invert Mouse Patch!!

After lot's of complaints about the missing Invert mouse options, I decided to contact the Developer of the game. They said they had a patch for that but they are not allowed to publish it. Don't agree with that and do you want that patch? Send your complaints to Westwood at: comments@westwood.com.

New Layout!!

Finally!!! I've been walking around with this concept in my head for months: A website just like the game itself! Well, I have to say that I'm pretty proud of it now that it's all done. Ofcourse I still need to change and optimize some stuff, but you'll hardly notice.

Worth a your visit is our new "Multiplayer Center". This is your starting point if you want to play against other Recoilers. If you don't want to, visit it anyway, I bet you'll change your mind once you see the amount of people who just can't wait to blast your turret off your BFT.

MX300 Version - No Multiplay?

Here at The Recoil Zone, we get allot of E-mail regarding the bundled version of Recoil with the popular sound card Diamond Monster Sound MX300. Please note that this version of Recoil IS NOT the full and final release. This version does not come with multiplayer support and can be classified as a beta. We know it has its bugs and we simply recommend buying the full and final release from a retailer near you. Zipper Interactive is not responsible for the fact that this version doesn't include a Multiplayer option, please send your complaints to Diamond.
